BRIEF BIO
Dr. Sabeena M joined in the department of Physics, Cochin University of Science and Technology in June 2017 after receiving her Ph.D. degree from Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI), Mumbai, India. During her Ph.D. she worked in the Physical Metallurgy Group at Indira Gandhi Center for Atomic Research (IGCAR), Kalpakkam. Her PhD thesis focuses on the Phase Transformations in Ti-Mo Alloys. She has MSc degree in Physics from the School of Pure and Applied Physics (SPAP), MG University Kottayam. Dr. Sabeena’s research interests include diffusional and non-diffusional phase transformations in Ti based alloys.
She is also interested in the luminescent studies in rare earth doped silicate and phosphate materials.
