Thinfilm Photovoltaic Division

One of the biggest problems facing the world today is energy crisis and environment problems. This situation has occurred due to the rapid burning of fossil fuels and other sources of non-renewable energy. In this scenario the aim of research worldwide is to produce cheap energy with more applications. The vast amount of energy that the Earth receives from the Sun means that solar power could meet much of the world's energy demand if its deployment was significantly increased. Our group "Thin Film photovoltaic Division"(TFD) from 1987 has been engaged in research on development of efficient and economical viable thin film solar cells.Group head is                                         and the main focus of TFD is on using earth abundant compound semiconductor and non-vacuum technique specifically "Chemical Spray Pyrolysis" for fabrication of thin film solar cell.
