Introducing Python as a Plotting tool - Manosh M
The department is providing basic soft skill training for MSc, Mphil and early PhD students. The training program has started in the academic yaer 2018-19 and has been conducting in every academic year since then. The goal of the soft skill training is to equip our students and young researchers with modern tools and techniques that will immensely help them to progress in their academic and non- academic career.
A workshop for introducing python as a plotting tool was held at the Department of Physics on 22.01.2019. The person in charge was Mr. Manosh M., a research scholar of our Department. The goal of the workshop was to familiarize the audience with the top python libraries generally used for data visualization such as Matplotlib. The session also successively introduced the idea of interactive environments for 2-D plotting.
