  Who can apply

Students having masters degree in Physics with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA from Cochin University of Science and Technology or from any other universities, recognized by Cochin University of Science and Technology, can apply for the M.Phil. programme. Candidates who have written final year examination of masters degree in Physics and awaiting results are also eligible to apply subject to the condition that this will be only provisional and they should fulfill the criteria as mentioned above in case of selection and at the time of joining.

    How to apply

Candidates who qualify the eligibility criteria can apply along with Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the Cochin University of Science and Technology. Selection will be based on the performance of a Departmental Admission Test (DAT) conducted by the department of Physics. Application for the CAT will be called for in the month of January every year, through notification appearing in almost all the leading national dailies and at university website. Application form along with information brochure can be obtained from the university by sending a demand draft and a written request.
